Rising Fire Business Policy

Shamanism is not considered professional mental health care or medical care. If you feel psychologically stressed to the point that it is interfering with your ability to function, please call 911 or click here to view contact information for mental health crisis resources in your area.

Rising Fire LLC does not render any medical, psychological, or other professional advice or treatment, nor does it provide or prescribe any medical diagnosis, treatment, medication, or remedy.

Participation in sessions, classes, workshops, events, and information offered by Rising Fire LLC, is not offered as a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health or medical conditions. Further, the practitioners and teachers contracted by Rising Fire LLC are not acting as mental health counselors or medical professionals.

Open communication is promoted between clients/students and their respective practitioners/teachers.  Pertinent client/student information may be shared with colleagues within Rising Fire LLC for the purposes of supporting healing and to enhance the sessions offered.

Rising Fire has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Private Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $100. This policy applies to all practitioners and session types (not including complimentary services).

Rising Fire has a full payment “no-show” policy. Clients who are 15+ minutes late will be assumed a “no-show” and charged full price of the session.

We understand that life happens, and things come up. It is at the discretion of the practitioner to work with you if you are more than 15 minutes late for your session.

If you are running late, please contact the practitioner directly or the Rising Fire office. Acceptable communication forms are texting, calling, or emailing. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Full payment is due at the time you schedule your private session. When registering for a class or workshop, payment is due prior to your participation.

Refunds for non-attended classes or workshops must be requested within 30 days of the date of the class or workshop and will be applied to the original purchase method. Non-refundable deposits or payments will not be refunded.

Package Expiration Dates

  • 6+ Session Packages will expire six months of date of purchase.

  • 12+ Session Packages will expire twelve months of date of purchase.

If you do not use all the sessions in your package, you may request a pro-rated refund within 30 days of package expiration. Refunds are not available for packages purchased a year or more prior to the date of the refund request.

Rising Fire enforces a Fragrance and Chemical Free Policy.

Please review the following list of products that are prohibited at all locations and any event hosted by Rising Fire:

  • Body fragrances (colognes, perfumes, body sprays, scented deodorants)

  • Scented fabric care (detergents, fabric softeners, or linen sprays)

  • Scented skin care lotions and creams (body, foot, hand, or facial)

  • Scented hair care (shampoos, conditioners, sprays, mousse, and gels)

  • Essential Oils*

If you come for a class or session with any of the listed products on yourself or clothing, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises.

Communication Policy

Rising Fire’s Practitioners, Teachers and Client Management System, vCita, including the vCita Client Portal, adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act aka “HIPPA” privacy requirements as it relates to client information and communication about client and between client/Practitioner/Teacher.

We will respond to client or student questions, inquires, and messages, etc., within 24-48 hours of receipt.
