About Rising Fire
Each of us comes into this life carrying a sacred flame at our very core. But as we navigate our lives, our flames can diminish. Hurts, disappointments, and traumas rob our fire of its brilliance. Sometimes our fire can be snuffed out completely.
Our Story
Rising Fire provides personal shamanic healing sessions, group classes, and practitioner trainings that re-ignite your fire, feed your inner brilliance and provide you with a toolkit of healing practices with which to tend your fire.
Our offerings are an alchemical melding of ancient wisdom teachings, modern depth psychology, and earth-based shamanic practices which promote energy movement, support healing, and assist in removing obstacles to personal growth.
At Rising Fire we cultivate Radical Aliveness – the ability to return to center after any storm. Our practices and trainings build your capacity to remain deep-rooted and centered in calm stillness, no matter what the circumstance.
Rising Fire provides the safe and sacred container necessary to do the courageous work of facing yourself with a compassionate heart and take ownership of your own brilliant light. It can be uncomfortable work, and we are steadfast in our commitment to support you through challenges, mis-steps and breakthroughs on your journey of growing self-awareness. The healers at Rising Fire guide you as you learn to illuminate areas of your shadow and shift your relationship with the obstacles that stand in the way of your fullest expression.
We are here for those who are ready to ask the questions at the heart of life: “Who am I?” “Why am I here?” “Why does this keep happening to me?” Those who are willing to look within themselves for the answers. This is the work of stepping into Radical Aliveness, and we assist you in cultivating your sacred flame into its most vibrant expression of your inner brilliance.
Our staff has been offering high-quality programs in the US and internationally since 1986 and opened the Rising Fire healing center & school in Portland, Oregon in 2013. Though physically based in Portland, Oregon, Rising Fire offers our services worldwide via online learning platforms and private Zoom sessions. We lead travel overseas for retreats, journeys, and expeditions.

Rosemary Estelle Beam
Owner, Founder, Shamanic Practitioner, Teacher & Expedition Leader, CEO- Chiefess Everything Officer
Having transcended the boundaries of a successful corporate career into the fertile terrain of medicine work, Rosemary is a skilled ceremonialist in profound conversation with the invisible intelligences that guide our lives. Through her own journey of healing and personal development, Rosemary has acquired the equivalent of a modern master’s degree the Old Way: by apprenticing herself to sacred practices and wisdom traditions throughout the world. An initiate of the lineage of Don Manuel Quispe, revered Altamesayok of the Q’ero, Rosemary has a deep relationship with the Andes, and Mount Ausangate is her personal mentor.
Animated, passionate, expressive, and authentic, Rosemary is a caring companion along the mysterious road of self-actualization. An inspiring Teacher, Healer, Lecturer, and Expedition Leader, Rosemary facilitates the removal of the pebbles and boulders that stand in the way of our healing. Having done her own deep personal and spiritual work, Rosemary has the stability that allows her to fluidly respond to whatever personal or psychological obstacles her clients encounter on their journey, without judgment or shame. Rosemary’s greatest joy is to uncover her clients’ hidden gifts, and she is passionate about meeting someone where they are in order to facilitate their metamorphosis.
Honestly direct and fiercely loving, Rosemary is a She-Bear who creates a sacred container for healing by establishing appropriate boundaries within an encompassing field of love. Her solid relationship with her own center enables Rosemary to remain present and supportive of her clients’ process and walks the road to Self-actualization with them, a partner in the removal of the psychic, spiritual, and practical obstacles to one’s fullest authentic expression.
Rosemary cultivates aliveness, helping people to blossom and thrive, and assists her clients in developing a personal tool kit to sustain their path and nourish continued growth into their own true nature.

Chiefess of Staff / Director of Office Magick
Sarah resides in the Pacific Northwest on the Oregon coast and loves to seek out the wonderful in every day. She is a graduate of Rising Fire’s Medicine Wheel and Healer’s Training programs, is certified and initiated as a shamanic practitioner and living energy healer into the lineage of the Q’ero medicine men and women in the high Andes of Peru. She is also a full mesa carrier.
