Rising Fire’s Operation During COVID-19

Below is a letter from Rosemary Beam, owner and co-founder of Rising Fire, in regards to the temporary operating procedures concerning COVID-19. In light of the recently classified pandemic, we are limiting contact and in person events and classes. Rising Fire will be expanding our use of technology to continue our normal schedule as consistently as possible. If you have sessions with other practitioners working from Rising Fire offices, please contact them directly if you have questions on the status of your scheduled sessions!

Dear Ones,

In response to COVID-19 and as a person with a compromised immune system, I made a proactive decision on March 2nd, 2020 to move to an online teaching and session platform. All of my personal sessions, classes and ongoing events will be via Zoom, Skype, etc., for the foreseeable future.

It was not a light decision and it was not a quick one. It was however the correct one. We held our first online Medicine Wheel Weekend Retreat this last weekend with great ease and success.

Some of you may know that I work via video conferencing with people around the world, so this is not a foreign territory for me. However I do want to acknowledge that for each of you it may be foreign and uncomfortable. I greatly appreciate your flexibility, understanding and participation!

This move is in an effort to protect the health and safety of our clients, Team Rising Fire and our greater community.

Some best practices and resources for more information about COVID-19:

    • Wash your hands frequently
    • Sanitize:
Using a solution of at least 60% alcohol and any of the following antiviral essential oils: lemon, tea tree, orange, lavender, rosemary, peppermint.
    • Frequently wipe down surfaces you touch: phone, tablet, keyboards, doors, handles, chairs, soap dispensers, water dispensers, in the car, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in your work space
    • Sneeze/cough into your elbow or facial tissue
    • Elbow bump, air kiss or bow when greeting someone instead of shaking hands
    • Social Distance
    • If you feel sick, call your healthcare provider before going in

I love this work and I appreciate each one of you and your commitment to personal work and the practice of staying centered in each moment. This is the embodiment of the medicine teachings.
